Last December, Call of Duty veteran and Battlefield boss Vince Zampella perished in a car accident. Zampella had deep ties to the video game industry, and according to Hideo Kojima, he also had ideas about making Kojima's Metal Gear Solid into a first-person game.The Game Awards host and creator Geoff Keighley noted at DICE that Kojima revealed that he had "many discussions" with Zampella about a first-person MGS.
