Over the years, fans have called for a Bloodborne remake. It never materialized, but not for lack of trying. A new report from Bloomberg said the recently shuttered Bluepoint Games pitched a Bloodborne remake in early 2025, but original developer From Software rejected it.According to the report, Bluepoint was advised that "the numbers made sense," but From Software "didn't want it to happen."This isn't a total surprise, as former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida told Kinda Funny in 2025 that original Bloodborne director Hidetaka Miyazaki wanted to remake the game but was too busy.
